Our Volunteers

  • Welcome people of all backgrounds in an engaging and compassionate manner, creating a comfortable and cheerful environment for the children and their families using any of RMHC North Australia’s 5 practical care programs.

  • Be dependable and reliable to fulfil your shift or provide notice of changes

  • Represent the Charity in a positive manner at all times, being respectful and courteous to others

  • Always be open to and willing to learn in your volunteer role.

Commitment & Compliance Requirements

  • Be able to contribute a minimum of 3 hours per fortnight

  • Ability to hold a Working With Children Check (WWCC) & undertake a National Criminal Check, facilitated through RMHC North Australia

  • Be reliable and trustworthy

  • Attend an induction and introductory shift

  • Minimum age to apply for a standard Volunteer role is 15+
